The Club

  • How can I contribute?

    Members have multiple avenues for contributing. You can participate in one of the trail care sessions or express your interest in becoming a committee member during the Annual General Meeting.

  • Who runs the club?

    The club is managed by a group of enthusiastic mountain biking legends

  • What responsibilities does the club have?

    The club looks after the Wooroi trails, they contribute hours of hard yakka. Applying for Grants, working with Council and QPWS.

  • How often does the club run events?

    The club runs a weekly social ride for all club members. We take off from Wooroi Day use area at 8am every Saturday morning.

    Once a month we have a post-ride BBQ to catch up and hang out.

    We also regularly run a club 5er which is open to anyone for a chance to ride in a big group and enjoy a few drinks after.

Membership

  • Do I have to be a member of CA to join the club?

    Not at all. Club memberships start at $30 and can be purchased through this site.

    Please note that this is a 12 month membership only and does not come with any insurances or event entry.

  • What does club membership get me?

    Club membership is a great way to support the efforts of our club and the work we do.

    It means you can join our club rides and access youth coaching sessions run by the club.

    You also get voting rights at the AGM.

  • Can I be a member of more than one club?

    Of course you can. There is no limit to the number of clubs you can be part of. It’s a great way to support the local mountain biking community.
